What do you charge for each lesson?

My Current rate is £38 an hour.

What do I need?

A computer, a webcam (in-built is fine in most occasions) and a guitar will be enough to get started!

What software do I need to download?

I am flexible and teach through Discord. Discord’s audio settings can make playing un-amplified guitar clearer if you are not using an audio interface.

How good do I have to be?

I teach all abilities! If you have just picked up the guitar, I am confident that I can show you how to quickly achieve your goals on the instrument and become a great musician. Equally, I have multiple advanced students who are looking at studying music at university or are playing professionally.

What styles do you teach?

I am confident that I can teach all styles to a very high level - my specialities are in chord knowledge and improvisation.

Are online lessons right for me?

If you have good internet access on a phone or computer, and have a guitar on hand then online lessons are no different to learning in-person. There’s no need to travel either, making online lessons much more straightforward.

When are you available?

I teach until 11pm Monday - Friday, with a few limited slots on Saturdays. Get in touch with me to discuss what time suits you best!

How Do I Pay?

I send a PayPal invoice to you after the lesson. You can also pay monthly in advance if preferred.

Can I cancel lessons?

Of course - as long you give 12 hours notice. Contact me if you have specific issues with booking.

Why do you teach?

I am very passionate about music, and about exploring all that is possible on the guitar. I have realised that the knowledge I have accumulated after thousands of invested practice hours is best shared with as many people as I can!

I already have students composing songs using material we covered in their lessons, and I thoroughly enjoy creating a connection to the instrument that allows them to express their musical ideas. I genuinely hope I can make the learning experience as enjoyable as others have made it for me.
